Peanut Gallery is Adelaide's newest contemporary art gallery, open since September 2016. Established by artist/curator Fruzsi Kenez and graphic designer Caroline Gliddon.
We are a self-funded artist run space with a vision that sees us supporting emerging local artists alongside established interstate and international artists. Our exhibitions are bold, exciting and carefully curated to bring only the highest calibre of art to Adelaide audiences. Usually three weeks in length, our exhibitions open with a large function, and usually conclude with a small closing event linking into the theme of the exhibition in the form of a poetry reading, acoustic music night or similar. We collaborate with local poets, musicians and performance artists to present exciting events to close our exhibitions, with all opening and closing events on Friday evenings. Peanut Gallery also hosts ticketed fundraising events such as the Harry Potter Quiz Night.
